Covid-19 Precautions & Safety at the Farm:
The safety of our staff and guests is our number one priority! In order to keep our community safe and adhere to Provincial and Federal government regulations, some NEW PROTOCOLS have been set in place for the farm's current season:
Masks are required in the farm store and all pick-your-own items must be paid through the farm store.
Access to our farm property and farm store will be strictly monitored and restricted to
appropriate numbers to maintain physical distancing requirements.
MASKS are REQUIRED in all indoor spaces, in accordance to the Halton By-Laws, effective June 16th, 2020.
ENTRANCES AND EXITS will be marked to control the flow of traffic, we ask that you please abide by these directional cues.
TRACTORS rides are not guaranteed and are reserved first for those with mobility limitations. Rides may be offered on occasion to other visitors on a prescribed schedule; anyone who wishes to participate in a tractor ride must sign up at the farm for a designated time slot at no additional cost. Persons without a scheduled time will not be permitted on the tractor.
Strict sanitization guidelines have been put into place around the farm, including washrooms and common areas. All staff will also be wearing gloves and masks, when and where appropriate. Staff are subject to health screenings at the beginning of each shift and are not permitted to come to work if they feel any signs of illness. We ask that you also refrain from visiting the farm if you are exhibiting signs of illness until you are feeling completely better.
